Privacy policy
Effective on publication. MopLogic is building a cleaning proof and quality log for small commercial cleaning companies. This validation website collects almost nothing. The future product will hold your business records. This page says plainly what each one collects, why, and what your rights are.
What this validation site collects
Only what you hand us, and only if you fill in a form or ask for a download:
- From the waitlist and pilot forms: your name, your work email, your company name, and how many client sites you have. If you write us a message, the message text.
- From download email capture, if you ask for a free PDF by email: your email address and which file you asked for.
- Cookieless analytics: if Cloudflare Web Analytics is added at deploy, it counts page views without setting tracking cookies and without identifying you. See Cookies below.
What this validation site does NOT collect
- No payments or payment card data. Nothing is sold or charged on this site. Prices shown are planned subscription prices for the future product.
- No continuous location tracking.
- No audio recording. The future product has no audio recording anywhere, which avoids wiretapping and two-party consent problems. See our photo and privacy rules.
- No biometric data.
- No data from children. This site is for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18. If you believe a child gave us information, email us and we will delete it.
What the future product will store
When the MopLogic app launches, it will store the records your company creates to run the service: visit records, checklists, timestamps, work area photos, supervisor scores, and issue logs. These are your company's business records. We process and store them to run the service for you.
We do not sell personal information and do not share it for advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising. There is no sale of personal information anywhere in this product, so the opt-out of sale right has nothing to act on.
Categories of personal information and why we collect them
| Category | What it includes | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Contact and account details | Name, work email, company name | Waitlist and pilot replies; later, your account |
| Business profile | Number of client sites, message text you send us | To size your plan and answer you |
| Visit records (future product) | Checklists, timestamps, work area photos, supervisor scores, issue logs | To run the proof and quality log you pay for |
| Usage counts (cookieless) | Page views, downloads | To see which pages are useful |
Who receives personal information
By category of recipient, and the actual vendors in each category:
- Hosting and analytics: Cloudflare. This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages; if analytics is added at deploy it is Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless.
- Database and auth (future product): Supabase, for the Postgres database and sign-in.
- Forms: Tally, once the waitlist and pilot forms are wired at deploy under the owner's login.
- Email: the email provider used to send form replies, monthly reports, and validation emails, named here once it is wired.
We do not sell personal information to data brokers, advertisers, or anyone else. Service providers above get only what they need to do their job, and we do not authorize them to use your information for their own purposes.
Retention
- Paid accounts: while you are subscribed, records are never deleted. After cancellation: 12 months read-only, then 24 months in archive on request.
- Free tier of the future product: 12 months rolling retention.
- Waitlist, pilot, and download form submissions on this validation site: kept only as long as needed for the validation test, then deleted.
Your rights under US state privacy laws
This section covers California (CCPA/CPRA), Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Utah, Oregon, Montana, and other state comprehensive privacy laws as they take effect. The exact rights and timing follow the law that applies to you. In general, residents of these states can ask us to:
- Know and access: what personal information we hold about you and the categories above.
- Correct: fix personal information that is wrong.
- Delete: delete your personal information, subject to the retention and record duties described in this policy.
- Get a copy: receive your personal information in a portable format.
- Opt out of sale: we do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. If that ever changed, this page would be updated first and an opt-out link would appear here.
How to ask: email privacy@moplogic.com with the subject line "Privacy request" and tell us what you want. We will verify your identity before acting, usually by replying to the email address on the account or the address you submitted, and we will not ask for more than we need to confirm you are you.
Timing: we respond within the window your state's law sets (for example, 45 days under most of these laws, with a possible extension we will tell you about). Appeals: states that require an appeal process (including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon, and Montana) give you the right to appeal if we deny your request; reply to our denial email with the word "appeal" and a person will review it again.
We will not discriminate against you for using your rights.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold: encryption in transit, access controls limited to people who need access to run the service, and separate handling for the service providers listed above. No system is perfectly secure and we do not promise that ours is. If we learn of a breach affecting your information, we will tell you as the law requires.
Cookies and Do Not Track
This site itself sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare Web Analytics, if added at deploy, is cookieless and does not identify you. If that ever changes, this policy gets updated before any cookie-based tracking runs.
Because we do not sell personal information and do not do targeted advertising, there is nothing for a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal to opt you out of on that front. We treat those signals as respected for the sale and targeted advertising they address.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a material way, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date and note what changed. Continued use of the site or the product after the change means you accept the new version.
